Spring isn't just a season change. It's a natural time for renewal in traditional wellness practices across cultures. As days lengthen and warmth returns, our bodies respond to the shift. This is the moment to reset.

I've developed a 3-week protocol that uses specific oils to support your body through this seasonal transition. It's grounded in traditional wellness practices and adapted for modern life.

"Spring is nature's invitation to reset. This protocol helps your body respond to the seasonal shift with intention."

The 3-week protocol overview

Week 1

Gentle cleansing & transition

Begin with oils that support your body's natural detoxification processes. Daily Lemon water, morning diffusing of Lemongrass, and evening Frankincense to ground the changes.

Week 2

Deep support & renewal

Introduce oils that support healthy digestion and cellular renewal. Add Peppermint to your morning routine, continue evening Frankincense, and incorporate a targeted blend diffusion.

Week 3

Integration & balance

Consolidate the practices that resonated. Choose 2-3 oils to continue year-round. Let others fade. This is personalization week โ€” listen to your body.

Week-by-week breakdown

Week 1: Preparation & Transition

Morning: One drop Lemon in 16oz water, consumed upon waking. Diffuse Lemongrass for 20 minutes while you shower and prepare.

Afternoon: Continue normal routine. Notice energy and digestion changes.

Evening: 1 drop Frankincense diluted in carrier oil, applied to back of neck or feet. Spend 5 minutes in intentional awareness of the season changing.

Goal this week: Establish consistency. Your body is signaling that change is welcome.

Week 2: Deepening Support

Morning: Continue Lemon water and Lemongrass diffusing. Add a third oil to your morning: 3-4 drops Balance or Elevation in the diffuser for an extra 10 minutes. Choose whichever calls to you.

Midday: Add Peppermint โ€” one drop in water with lunch or after meals. This supports digestion as your body transitions.

Evening: Continue Frankincense ritual. Consider adding 1 drop Geranium to your topical blend for skin renewal support.

Goal this week: Deeper support. Notice which oil combinations feel best for your body.

Week 3: Integration & Personalization

Reflect: Which practices felt meaningful? Which oils made the biggest difference for you?

Choose 2-3 oils to continue: Most people find Lemon water and Frankincense are year-round keepers. One or two others become part of their personal spring routine.

Let others fade: The oils that were "nice but not essential" naturally fall away. That's perfect. You're customizing to your body.

Safety and dilution

Internal use: Never ingest pure oils. Always dilute one drop in 8-16oz of water. OnGuard Softgels are also an option for internal support without undiluted oils.

Topical use: Always dilute with Fractionated Coconut Oil. One drop of essential oil per 5ml (1 teaspoon) of carrier is a safe 20% dilution for short-term use during the 3-week protocol.

Pregnancy & nursing: Consult your healthcare provider before internal use of any essential oils.

โš ๏ธ Listen to your body

This protocol is a guide, not a prescription. If an oil doesn't feel right for you, skip it. If you feel overwhelmed, slow down. The point of renewal is to support your body's natural rhythms, not to force a routine that feels harsh.

Beyond the 3 weeks

After the protocol, you'll have discovered which oils your body genuinely resonates with. Those become your spring allies year after year. Some people repeat this exact protocol every spring. Others use it as a starting point and develop their own variation.

The goal isn't to follow a program perfectly. It's to use the season as permission to pause, reset, and recommit to wellness with intention.
